A recipe for a study break!

Over the past few months in quarantine I’ve attempted many different things to help me relax and to take my mind off any current stressors. I quickly realised that one of my passions, cooking, was the best strategy at doing just that. I explored youtube and the internet and came across a YouTuber by the name of ‘Binging with Babish’ who takes many popular and delicious dishes from tv shows and movies and turns them into easy ‘make at home’ recipes. Now when I find myself becoming overwhelmed with life tasks and responsibilities, I’m able to channel this anxiousness into making tasty food that my family and I can all enjoy.

Here’s a link to one of my favourite recipes so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWAY5i3CMpo&app=desktop. This easy to make,  gooey, chocolatey caramel slice is enough to make any worry disappear (even if only for a short period of time)! All full recipes from his Youtube channel can be found at his website: https://basicswithbabish.co.

Happy cooking :)
